Where to Invest in Real Estate? This is a question most real estate investors ask themselves frequently. They are looking for the next great area to invest in while paying the least amount of money and receiving the highest return on investment possible.

The best way to achieve this goal is by investing in Emerging Markets. But how do you know where to find them? There are several different ways:

Online Investor Groups or Forums: These groups help you stay tuned in to the latest investment opportunities that fellow investors are involved in. In addition, the wealth of education you can receive from people’s actual experiences is priceless. In the beginning, you don’t have to participate if you don’t want to - just sit back, read, and absorb. When you’re ready, jump in an contribute. You will soon learn about the pros and cons of investing in different states, and which ones appear to be working out well for other folks.

Investor Clubs: Join a local club that meets monthly. Find out where the big players are investing. Then do your own research.

Webinars: Usually when you belong to groups or forums, you will get webinar offers. Sitting in on these is not a waste of your time. They generally are accompanied by a pitch at the end to buy someone’s product or some such thing, but you don’t have to buy. Usually the first 55 minutes is full of great stuff, so don’t be put off. I’ve listened to webinars discussing all sorts of different investing opportunities in different areas for different types of real estate (i.e. residential, commercial, land, industrial, etc.). Even if you’re strictly focused on one type of investing, learning about the other types is still great education.

Stay tuned tomorrow for more ways to identify where to invest in real estate in Part 2 of 2.
